Introduction
"G5" refers to the redesign project culminating in the Fifth Generation of Arizona State University's Web site. The redesign's major goals include accessibility, usability, and ease of maintenance, as well as a nicer image for the university.
This site is a companion presentation to a paper presented at AusWeb99 by Arizona State University's Webmaster, Jeni Li.
Getting around the site
Please take a moment to review this page, which serves as a guide to the rest of the pages in the site. Presentation content will be offered here. Links to the right offer supplemental information or reference resources on a given topic. Off-site links will open in new browser windows; to return to this presentation site, simply close the new browser window.
Note! The presentation is given sequentially. On each page, to advance to the next topic, respond to the "10-second survey" at the bottom of the page and click "Respond and Continue".
Additional Note (June 15, 2000) : It recently came to my attention that, sometime after my transfer to another part of the university, the Web server containing most G5 materials was taken down. I have made an archive of those materials and will restore them here for historical purposes; in the meantime, however, most G5-related links will be non-functional. Apologies for the inconvenience.
